Dr. William Hendricks

Interim Pastor
 
Dr. Bill Hendricks is the Director of Interim Ministries for the Central Region of the American Baptist Churches and currently serves as the Interim Pastor for Wellsville Baptist Church. He was ordained into the American Baptist family in 1982 and has pastored four churches prior to his arrival in Wellsville. If you boil his ministry down to a single point… ‘The treasure is in the people!’    
 
Pastor Bill graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, Asbury Theological Seminary, and received his Doctorate from the University of Dubuque focused on personality assessment and conflict management. Dr. Hendricks has worked with corporate giants and small startups; large denominations and small local churches.  He founded an international consulting business and has managed through the conflict and change in 13 different countries.

Dennis Kichler

Director of Young Adults
 
Dennis & Pam Kichler have a heart for young adults so they can share their faith in Jesus Christ. They do all kinds of activities with them including swimming in their large pool or hot tub, ATV riding, volleyball and a huge slip and slide at their home near Wellsville.
 
They regularly host events for youth and young adults on a regular basis. Dennis is also very active with the local Wellsville school students and can often be found at school and athletic events supporting our church family. He has a true heart for and God given gift for evangelism.

Sean & Lesley Breithaupt

Youth Leaders
 
Sean Breithaupt is a hometown Wellsville grown young man. He was a a well known and recognized athlete in High School. He first committed his life to Jesus Christ at New Hope Church as a young boy. Then several years later God began a new work in his heart and showing him how to be a Godly husband, father, and spiritual leader to the young people in his home environment, then at his work, and to all those in his community and to the body of believers at Wellsville Baptist Church. He and Lesley have struggled through many difficult circumstances in their lives and have found God to be faithful through them all. They have two sons, Seth, and Shelton. “And you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem (Wellsville), and in all Judea (Douglas County) and Samaria (Kansas), and to the remotest part of the earth.” {Acts 1:8}
